Love Island alumni Laura Anderson has responded to followers after she shared a cryptic post about marriage and family.
The 34-year-old recently welcomed her first baby Bonnie, who she shares with Hollyoaks actor Gary Lucy. But the pair's relationship hasn't been plain-sailing, following a bitter breakup in the middle of Laura's pregnancy. After reuniting just before the baby was born, Laura's Instagram Stories post got fans speculating on what was going on behind closed doors.
Adding further to the intrigue surrounding her and 41-year-old Gary's relationship, Laura posted a quote to her story, which read: "When you meet the right person - you want a marriage, not just a wedding. You want a family, not just a baby. You want a home, not just a house. You want a future, not just promises."
She then shared a video showing her, baby Bonnie, and her dog Buddy, calling them the "three musketeers", with no sign of Gary.
But she's now cleared up any uncertainty with fans. Reposting another motivational quote, which read: "The real test is being kind to people," Laura added her own caption. She said: "Great mantra to live by. PS My posts are never cryptic or directed at anyone. I just love reading and sharing quotes that can open up our perspective a little and feel more positivity."
Love Island's Haris spills on unaired row between Zara and TanyelBonnie is Laura's first baby and Gary's fifth. He already has four children from his relationship with Emmerdale actress Natasha Gray. Laura and Gary met on Celebs Go Dating after he had been through a string of failed romances following the end of his 14-year relationship with Natasha.
When introducing Bonnie to the world via an Instagram post, she shared a reel showing photos and videos of their journey so far but warned followers against prying.
She wrote: "Hi everyone, my name is Bonnie Rose Lucy Anderson. I was born 02/09/23 at 06.03am and weighed 6.10lbs. My Mummy and Daddy are sooooo happy and in love with me, this is our first week together. I’m sorry it’s taken me some time to introduce myself, I hurt my mummy a little bit and scared my daddy too (oops) we're all now recovering well at home. Please don't question My Mummy and Daddy on their relationship. This... is all about me."
Part of the footage showed the moving arrival of baby Bonnie, with Gary visibly emotional as Laura cradled their new daughter. Gary went on to break his silence after the birth of his fifth baby. Sharing Laura's clip of their pregnancy journey, he wrote: "What a rollercoaster... better late than never... some people are worth waiting for [wink emoji]."
