Big Brother fans were left both floored and baffled by Chanelle's "brutal" question to fellow housemate Jenkin on Friday's episode.
During the latest episode, the duo were sat in the garden when Dental Therapist Chanelle, 29, suddenly asked: "You know if someone actually come up to you and said: 'You're a fat f****r, would you get upset?" to which Jenkin admitted: "I'd p**s myself. The exterior of me would laugh but I would take it very personally... I take a lot of things to heart.
"I know there's obviously going to be people who say s**t, to me, that's fine but if someone in here who I genuinely like, genuinely care about, comes up and goes: 'Do you know what, you are f**king fat and you're doing my head in' or say I'm having an argument with someone and they call me 'fat' in an argument. That would hurt me." Barman Jenkin, 25, added: "I don't want to be defined by my size!"
Viewers were left baffled and floored over Chanelle's "brutal" question, asking if they had missed a scene as to why this had prompted her to ask. Taking to Twitter, now X, one confused person said: "‘If someone came to you and said you’re a fat f****r would you be upset’ what kind of conversation starter ? #bbuk", a different account put: "“If someone called you a fat f****r would you be upset?” EXCUSE ME???? #bbuk", while another baffled viewer added: "Why would Chanelle ask him that #BBUK!"
Elsewhere, one person said: "Would you get upset if someone came up to you and called you a fat f****r" what is wrong with Chanelle? #BigBrotherUK #BBUK" while another Big Brother fan added: "I really hope there was context to this "fat f****r" question Chanelle #BBUK".
TOWIE's Chloe Brockett makes cheeky dig at Saffron Lempriere during filmingElsewhere on the episode, Big Brother's Zak became the second housemate to leave the 2023 series on Friday night. It was revealed earlier this week that Food Writer Henry, 25, from the Cotswolds and model Zak, 28, from Manchester would be the next housemates to face the public vote on Friday night's second live eviction of the series. And during the live eviction on Friday, the second housemate to leave was revealed as Zak.
Zak then immediately went on spin-off show, Big Brother: Late & Live, where he gave his first exit interview. He said of his eviction: "It was a bit nerve-racking but at the same time I was like: 'You know what'. Not that I expected it, I was happy I had people [the audience] cheering!"
The housemate then teased his next project, saying: "I had a good time, it's one of those experiences you'll never get to experience again. So I thought: 'I'll go for it!', the next one I really want to do is I'm A Celeb... if you're listening!" To which host, Will Best, quipped: "He's plugging, he's plugging already!"
