Advent calendars that contain things other than chocolate have been rising in popularity for quite some time. I've tried my fair share over time but I got my hands on one from Drinks by the Dram that I'm actually really excited about.
Their Spiced Rum Advent Calendar (2023 Edition) isn't cheap at £99.95, but there are 24 little bottles inside that I think makes it a great chance to explore new rums you may not otherwise have tried. It has a total of 72cl of alcohol inside which is a little bit more than you'd get in a standard bottle of spiced rum.
Although it's not cheap, it's not the most expensive on the market. The standard Rum Advent Calendar is an extra £25 and it's not unusual to fork out over £100 on a niche advent calendar.
I've tried out a boozy advent calendar back in 2021 that was filled with gin and while it was a great chance to try new products it also lasted much longer as I don't drink every night, even in December. The 3cl bottles are really handy for predrinks or if you want to take a few with you on a trip.
The very first time I got my hands on a wax sealed dram I was a little bit confused but you don't have to worry about taking of the wax. You just spin them open like any other screw top.

There are 24 doorsWith some advent calendars I think cheap products are used to fill the space, but there's truly great quality rums in the selection. Some of which I'd argue are must haves in any rum lovers collection.
If you have a rum fan in your life I think this is a great option or if you're a rum drinker who is wanting to build a bar at home this is a great way to start out and try a huge range of rums without committing to a full bottle if they're not to your taste.
