Alan Wake 2 is just over a week away and we've compiled the best pre-order options available for the game on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Alan Wake 2 finally marks the return of Remedy Entertainment's sophomore series (after moving on from the equally excellent Max Payne games). Alan Wake 2 features two playable characters who each have their own story to go through. Newcomer cop Saga Anderson who is investigating the string of murders in Bright Falls, Washington while the titular writer Alan Wake attempts to escape the alternate dimension he's been stuck in for 13 years.

Alan Wake 2 is releasing on Friday, October 27 exclusively on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S – no last-gen version here we're afraid. It's also going to be a digital-only release, meaning players won't be able to pick up a physical copy of the game.

Alan Wake 2 pre-order guide

As we said, unfortunately, Alan Wake 2 is a digital-only release, which limits your options to the PlayStation, Xbox, and Epic Games stores on those respective platforms (except for Xbox, where the game is available on CD Keys). There are two different available versions of Alan Wake 2, the standard edition which comes with the game and the Deluxe Edition which comes with the game and the following items:

Both editions have some bonuses for pre-ordering the game, these are as follows:

PC players who pre-order Alan Wake 2 on the Epic Games store will also get access to the Alan Wake Fortnite Skin.

As you can see the PC version is cheaper across the board, mainly due to Epic Games being the publisher of this title. Thankfully, Remedy Entertainment is one of the few developers selling their game at a lower price than other AAA titles due to it being digital only.
