Logan Paul offered Dillon Danis his forgiveness just seconds before their boxing fight last night.
Danis had embarked on a lengthy trolling campaign in the build-up to the bout, taking particular aim at Paul's fiancee, Danish model Nina Agdal. Danis had gone to such extremes that Ms. Agdal took legal action and was granted a restraining order.
Danis also punched Paul at their pre-fight press conference after the YouTuber had thrown a bottle of Prime hydration drink a this opponent. But as the rivals faced off for the referee's final instructions in the ring, Paul could be seen saying: "I forgive you".
Paul had made similar comments before the bout as he prepared in his dressing room. "I forgive him. I forgive Dillon," he told DAZN. "I'm just going to go in there and do my job, stay focused. I'm gonna go in there not wanting to be aggressive and fight him with ego, I'm going to fight him with skill and precision."
Paul went on to beat Danis after the MMA star was disqualified for attempting a takedown in the final round. Paul had won the previous five sessions but Danis' actions prompted security guards to storm the ring as a brawl broke out and the fight brought to a premature end.

Paul then broke out into an impassioned post-fight speech, saying: "A guy like that was not easy. He is a true demon. A true coward. Sometimes the devil will make his way into your life. He’s supposed to be good at jiu-jitsu, what happened? I stuffed the takedown, he tried to do a guillotine. I’m sorry it ended that way, Dillon Danis truly is a coward, just a dirty, dirty human being."
Paul's win over Danis was followed by another scrappy contest as Tommy Fury outpointed KSI over six rounds. Fury had a point deducted for hitting KSI to the back of the head but was still awarded victory by two of the judges. The third official had scored the bout a draw but had added up his scores wrongly and had indeed handed Fury the win.
