Strictly Come Dancing favourite Karen Hauer is said to be nursing a broken heart after splitting from her husband Jordan Wyn-Jones.
A source told the Mirror the couple have decided to go their separate ways after a 'tough' few months in their marriage, adding: "It's obviously very sad for them."
The shock news comes just 14 months after the pair tied the knot. Karen, 41, was pictured without her wedding ring at the Pride of Britain Awards last week and put on a brave face during her latest live performance on last night's Strictly.
The professional dancer's latest heartbreak comes five years after her sad split with fellow dancer Kevin Clifton. The pair called time on their three year marriage in March 2018 - the same year Kevin met his current partner Stacey Dooley.
Karen said she had been 'blindsided' by how quickly Kevin moved on and and was left 'struggling to get out of bed.'
Strictly's Molly Rainford and Tyler West fuel romance rumours while on tourThe star described the break-up as the 'toughest period of her life' and praised her rescue dog Betty for helping her carry on amid her struggle.
"I went through a really tough divorce, and it was the most difficult thing I’ve faced on my own. Betty saved my life, pretty much. Having that unconditional love and having her there to help me actually get up out of bed.," she told The Sun
'I am structured and I am disciplined but when emotional things happen to you, nothing you do on the outside helps," recalled Karen.
Kevin announced their split on the BBC Radio 2 Breakfast show - just as they prepared to go on a joint tour together.
Speaking in 2021, Karen she would 'never, ever have let go' of her marriage to Kevin and wanted them to battle through the hard times.
In a candid discussion on the Divorce Club podcast, Karen said: "Obviously, other things happen, there are other factors that happened, that really hurt us both. But I thought... I would have never let go of it. I wouldn’t have never, ever let go of it.
"I would have liked to have fought for it. It took me a year after we separated to actually let go of him," she admitted.
Kevin has been married three times previously. His first marriage was to Latin dancer Anna Melnikova in 2003 which lasted just two years. A year on from the divorce, Kevin walked down the aisle with Clare Craze in 2006 with the marriage ending in 2013.
Clare previously said she had been deeply in love with Kevin during their ill-dated marriage which she said came crashing down amid speculation he had cheated on her.
After the split, Kevin moved on with fellow Strictly professional Karen, who became his third wife before they split up in 2018.
Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman 'sign deal' to host Strictly for two more yearsKevin's current partner Stacey Dooley has said she is no rush to walk down the aisle with the dancer.
“Marriage has never been massively important to me,” said the 36-year-old. "Also, it’s well documented that Kev’s done it a couple of times before. So, you do have to bear that in mind, coming down the aisle like, ‘Hello everyone, I know what you’re all thinking’."
Kevin and Stacey welcomed their first child, a daughter called Minnie, last year. Karen had been one of the first Strictly professionals to congratulate them on the news after they went public on social media.
Replying to their Instagram post, Karen wrote: "Congratulations! So happy for you both," accompanied by a heart emoji.
Karen married for a second time at an intimate wedding ceremony in Hampshire last year, in front of many of her Strictly co-star Luba Mushtuk was one of Karen's bridesmaids while It Takes Two host Janette Manrara was also in attendance.
The dancer and fitness professional Jordan had been together a year before taking the commitment.
