Tommy Fury explains why he respects Jake Paul more than YouTuber KSI

Tommy Fury has explained he has more respect for Jake Paul than KSI, claiming professionalism is a big difference between the two YouTube boxing rivals.

The Brit defeated Paul back in February via split decision after two years of cancelled fights and intense build-up, with their feud still playing out at different intervals. But he has shown more respect to the American than his British counterpart, insisting their rivalry was much more civil.

During the open workout for his fight with KSI, Fury was enraged when after his dad John threw a bottle up at his goading rival, he was met back with chewing gum which the YouTuber had spat out. And speaking with Mirror Fighting , the Love Island star explained exactly what had frustrated him so much.

"I mean it's just scruffy isn't it," Fury said. "And it's classless, there's no class in KSI, no professionalism and at the end of the day he will pay on Saturday night, I promise you that. That's what you're dealing with, it's like dealing with a child from the school yard. He's not grown up, that's the stuff 15-year-old kids do.

"So I'm not interested in what he's got to say or do, I'm really not. We're two days out from the fight and he will pay. I feel like these shenanigans are just very childish, Jake Paul is a lot more controlled and we just got down to business. It's tongue-in-cheek going into that fight with two-and-a-half years of build-up but it was a lot more professional than this."

In the crossover boxing scene, Fury has fought two men previously; defeating both Anthony Taylor and Paul on the scorecards in big-money fights. And he feels that both men are better boxers than KSI, claiming that his opponent's wild swings will not work when they meet in the ring.

"KSI just throws looping wild shots," Fury continued. "Anyone out of a pub can do that. What he does you can see any Friday night coming out of the pub. That's what you're dealing with here, you're not dealing with a classy boxer that can slip and slide, you're dealing with someone who comes forward like a madman, let's see him come forward against me.

"When he's swinging like he does, don't forget that you're always left open. So I'm hoping he's worked on his defence because if not it will be an early night. Jake is just more composed, he's got his hands nice and tight and he's watching for the shots. He actually tried to learn the art of boxing. This man here has just come in off the street and that's what I'd liken it to."
