Blue star, Simon Webbe, has revealed his wife has suffered a heartbreaking third miscarriage.
The singer, 45, announced the sad news on Instagram while raising awareness for baby loss charity, Tommy's. Sharing a photo of himself and his wife on the charity's page during Baby Loss Awareness Week, he wrote: "Ayshen had her third miscarriage at home. She didn’t feel pregnant anymore, I think we both knew what was happening, but you try and stay positive even though you’re pretty much 100 percent it’s not going to work out for you."
Ayshen, 43, explained: "At home the pain was brutal so we decided to go to hospital but, as I went to the toilet before we set off, everything came out and the pain eased. We went anyway but the queue at A&E was so long I just wanted to go home, I was exhausted and there was nothing they could do."
Prior to welcoming their daughter, Cyan, via C-section in 2021, Ayshen had two miscarriages and a failed round of IVF. Simon's wife admitted she 'struggled with guilt' after her devastating loss while the singer said: "All I wanted was to get my wife through it. I didn't really have time to grieve myself."
Urging others to speak to someone if they are going through the same heartache, he said: "Please don't go through it alone and in silence. Sometimes it's about admitting what you cannot do. You can't fix it but you can be there and listen. Find a way to cope with your own emotions, whether that's a beer with a mate or a walk."
Greggs, Costa & Pret coffees have 'huge differences in caffeine', says reportThe singer's heartfelt post was warmly received by Simon's followers with many telling the singer and his wife how brave they were for sharing their story. One wrote: "Thank you for sharing. It is such a painful journey and often feels isolating and even shameful. Praying for you and your family and thank you both for being brave."
The post was also liked by TOWIE star Georgia Kousoulou, who tragically lost her baby when she was 12 weeks pregnant earlier this year. The reality star, who shares son, Brody, with partner, Tommy Mallett, told her followers she was "hoping and praying but in the end there was nothing else we could have done" following the couple's heartbreaking loss. Replying to Simon's message, the reality star posted seven heart emojis in one of the many messages of support he received.
