Hugh Jackman has been inundated with date requests from lovestruck fans after his shock marriage split from Deborra-Lee Furness.
The Wolverine star, 54, announced he and the 67-year-old actress were parting ways after 27 years of marriage, and has since become one of Hollywood’s most eligible bachelors. “We have been blessed to share almost three decades together in a wonderful, loving marriage. Our journey now is shifting and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth,” the couple said in a joint statement last month.
“Our family has been and always will be our highest priority. We undertake this next chapter with gratitude, love, and kindness. We greatly appreciate your understanding in respecting our privacy as our family navigates this transition. This is the sole statement either of us will make,” they added, shooting down speculation that they would speak publicly about the end of their marriage.

Hugh and Deborra-Lee share two children, Oscar, 23, and Ava, 18, and while no reason was given for their surprise split, the news has propelled The Greatest Showman star onto the list of Hollywood’s most wanted hunks, as fans desperately try to land a date with the Aussie star. “Are we all commenting now because we know this fine man is technically available now? I know I am! I'm convinced that sliding into dms does actually work,” one joked.
'I'm spending £20k on a new bathroom - but won't help my brother out with cash'“I'll let you take me on a date now, Hugh,' another commented on Instagram. “You are the most eligible, hottest bachelor in the world,” one told him. “I'm single too!” another pleaded. Since news of his divorce broke, Hugh has been spotted enjoying a series of high-profile outings, including attending a Kansas City Chiefs football game in New York City, alongside close pals Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively and Taylor Swift.
His close friendship with Aussie singer Betty Who has also raised eyebrows amongst his loyal fans, after the duo were pictured sharing a hug backstage at her Broadway show, Hadestown. The 31-year-old - who is married to photographer Zac Cassar - shared a photo of her and Hugh on Instagram, with the caption: “MY COUNTRYMAN!!!! thank you for coming to see us in @hadestown and being so kind!”
It’s also been reported that Hugh is set to write a tell-all memoir, and according to Us Weekly, the book will contain “bombshell” revelations about his life before Hollywood, and his subsequent rise to superstardom. “The content will be Hugh speaking about his life. He'll be opening up about his life like never before,” an insider claimed.
