Ravi Gulati is out of his mind with worry over his son Nugget's disappearance, but his return and the arrival of a long-lost lover will lead to explosive revelations in EastEnders.
Next week, Ravi (Aaron Thiara) learns from Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) that Nugget (Juhaim Rasul Choudhury) has been sighted, but when he tells Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) the good news, he grows suspicious of her behaviour when she takes a secret call. She covers but confesses all to Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) and the pair make a quick getaway.
Ravi spots the pair and, believing he's been betrayed by his family, asks Jack to follow them, but is speechless when he comes face to face with Nugget's mum Priya (Sophie Khan Levy) who has been taking care of their son. The Walford bad boy brings Nugget home to Walford while Suki tells Nish she believes Denise's accusations against Ravi.
Priya arrives in Walford looking for Nugget as the police question the schoolboy on his reasons for leaving. Could Ravi find himself in trouble with the police over Ranveer's murder?
Nugget asks Ravi to be honest but he denies everything, leaving the youngster to turn to Suki for reassurance. Priya storms out as Ravi and Nugget quickly follow, but they're both surprised when they're greeted by Avani (Aaliyah James), Priya and Ravi's daughter, who he had no idea existed. The businessman and bad boy struggles to cope with the news as the Panesar family rally round him.
EastEnders' Jake Wood's snap of son has fans pointing out the pair's likenessAfter already being betrayed by Suki and Nish, will Ravi be forced to deal with the shocking news of his daughter on his own?
Speaking about Priya and Avani's arrival, Executive Producer Chris Clenshaw said: “We’re excited to introduce Priya and Avani, two women guaranteed to cause big drama in Albert Square. Little is known about Ravi and Priya’s doomed romance, but she’s a big missing piece in his past. The revelation that he’s got another child will floor Ravi, and he is set to face a big challenge in his life when he is forced to cope with such a big shock to the system. We’re delighted to welcome Sophie and Aaliyah to the EastEnders family.”
