Simon Cowell has brutally snubbed David Walliams as their explosive falling out over the comedian’s exit from Britain’s Got Talent takes a new turn.
The 64-year-old talent show boss is said to be seething that 52-year-old David has made explosive allegations about the way the ITV show is recorded. Little Britain star David is suing the creators of Britain’s Got Talent after he quit the show last year under a cloud of shame.
Transcripts of conversations David had about contestants - in which he branded one a “c**t” and made derogatory sexual remarks about another female hopeful - were leaked last November sparking widespread condemnation. David quit the ITV talent show weeks later.
Walliams is now launching legal action against Fremantle, the producers of the show, alleging data protection was breached. And reports have suggested David has claimed that the makers of the show secretly recorded him during the process of filming the show - including when he went into the bathroom.

A representative for Cowell dismissed the allegations and said the lawsuit isn’t even a topic being discussed - since Simon is not involved in it and he is currently busy filming Americas Got Talent in the US.

David’s BGT exit was reported on 25 November 2022 with a source explaining at the time: "David has decided to bow out after a ten-year run. He wants to leave on a high after a wonderful time. Being on the show has been a huge source of entertainment and joy for him and he is arguably the most popular member of the panel.”
He was ultimately replaced by Strictly Come Dancing judge Bruno Tonioli, who said following his appointment: “This is the biggest show on British TV, now that I’m here. I mean it… I know when something works and I know why it works. I know what this job needs."
In more recent weeks, however, David has launched an extraordinary legal complaint against the makers of BGT with his data breach case. London’s High Court has heard that David was left with “suicidal thoughts” and felt he was “unable to be funny” following his abrupt exit from the ITV show.
A Fremantle spokesperson told the Mirror on Saturday: "We had a long and productive relationship with David and so are surprised and saddened by this legal action. For our part, we remain available and open to dialogue to resolve this matter amicably. However, in the interim, we will examine the various allegations and are prepared to robustly defend ourselves if necessary."
