Bruce Willis' daughter hits back at trolls as she admits she's 'sensitive'

Rumer Willis has had to defend herself from cruel trolls as she urged people to remember she is a "human being who has feelings".

The 35-year-old, who is the eldest daughter of Bruce Willis and his ex-wife Demi Moore, was slammed for compiling a list of her go-to items, which included a $60 (£49) water bottle and a $75 (£61) candle. After the list was unveiled, some people called her a "nepo baby", while others described it as "gross".

Taking to her Instagram Story, Rumer shared a video in which she said she was "really taken aback at the level of negativity and just trolling." She added: "I mean I know I should just come to expect this because it's just what people do and think it's okay to treat other people that way, but regardless of whether you like me or not, whether you think I've accomplished anything in my life or not, I'm also just a human being that has feelings."

Rumer continued: "I guess I just wanted to say like, I have feelings, I'm a sensitive human being and I would really greatly appreciate it if you weren't so nasty to me and weren't so mean to me." She also said she is proud of the things she has accomplished, despite the online hate.

Explaining the decision to post her list of must-have items, Rumer said: "I do know that one of the things that I love to share is finding things that bring me joy, finding things that I wanna share with other people that bring them joy which was my intention in sharing." She added: "I just want to have this be a reminder that even though you can label and call me nepo baby or whatever it is, that I'm also just a person."

Captioning the clip, she added: "Please don't be an a**hole." While some people took offense at Rumer's list of her essential items, many fans defended her on Instagram.

"@rumerwillis you're such a beautiful, gorgeous soul inside and out. These people don’t like themselves. They’re so unhappy and disappointed with themselves that they can’t be happy for someone else. Keep being you! You’re perfect," one fan gushed.

Another said: "I love Rumer! She's such an inspiration and her picks are amazing," while a third person commented: "Glorious suggestions from an incredible and insightful human being."
