TV presenter AJ Odudu recalled her disastrous Big Brother audition when she sobbed her way through the challenging process.

In the end, AJ revealed how she had been left feeling defeated, as she no longer believed she was in the running for the coveted gig. But AJ's luck changed after she got the important call to let her know she had been chosen.

Despite this, AJ convinced herself that producers were no doubt going to change their minds and offer the role to someone else. In her interview with the Metro, she said: "Even after I got it, I remember auditioning with lots of different people, and even then, you go “gosh they could change their mind, they could offer it to me and then unoffer it to me.” Sadly, that is not unusual…"

However, the 35-year-old former Strictly Come Dancing contestant, wasn't the only person to feel the pressure during her audition. Co-presenter Will Best also shared how revealed the audition had been overwhelming.

"We had to do so much in the audition. We did a 'hello' and a welcome. We had to basically act as though we were presenting the shows; we had to do an eviction interview, we had to watch clips, it was quite a lot actually," he said.

AJ and Will's revelation comes shortly after the duo dropped some hints about the new housemates. "We have no idea who is going in either, but the housemates will reflect the UK in 2023," AJ told The Sun. Will added: "The show will always be a mirror to today's society and that will be shown in who is going into the house."

Big Brother will make a comeback to our screens on Sunday, October 8. The reality series will be followed each night by Big Brother: Late & Live - an exciting new commission hosted live by AJ Odudu and Will Best from the site of the Big Brother house in front of a studio audience - giving viewers an additional hour of exclusive Big Brother content.

The spin-off show will be the only place to watch the evictees first live interview alongside an array of unmissable exclusive features including access to the camera runs, celebrity guest commentary and debate plus weekly nomination results.
