Today viewers were left concerned after presenter Savannah Guthrie was forced to leave the studio mid-show following an unexpected medical diagnosis.
After hosting the early morning NBC programme for just 15 minutes earlier today, Savannah suddenly disappeared from the desk – sparking Tweets of concern.
"What’s going on this morning?? No Hoda and Savannah MIA after the first 15 minutes or so? What’s with the setup today," one troubled fan probed this morning.
Another wrote: "7:30 and Savannah had to leave early? Al sits in till Willie can get there. Hoda has been MIA with no explanation. Something's happening at Today Show."
It comes amid a string of absences at the hit-TV programme.

"They pulled Willie from MJ to come co-host on Today and cover for her. What is going on?"
Al Roker stepped in to cover Savannah this morning as co-host Sheinelle addressed the cameras with an explanation on her sudden disappearance.
"It has been an interesting morning for us. As we said, Savannah left early," she said.
"She wasn't feeling great, so she took a COVID test. It came back positive. So, of course, as soon as we found out, she rushed home to rest up."
Blowing a kiss, Sheinelle concluded: "So, Savannah, we love you. Wishing you a speedy recovery."
She will likely be out of action for the rest of the week, until she tests negative.
Fans quickly raced back to social media to send well wishes to the TV anchor after her coronavirus diagnosis was revealed live on-air.
"I hope Savannah and her family okay. A little concerned because of her sudden exit from @TODAYshow this morning," one tweeted.
Another said: "Savannah Guthrie gets third case of COVID, has to go home 20 minutes into hosting Today show when positive test results come in."

Savannah contracted Covid-19 for a second time back in May earlier last year, at the time writing on Instagram : "So this happened - again!"
"Covid +, air filter on "turbo" and it will be an isolating Mother's Day for this mama!!!... Thankful to be vaccinated," she explained her post's caption.
