Modern Warfare 3 is just over a month away, and we've compiled all the best options for pre-ordering the latest Call of Duty release, including bonuses, beta access and the best deals.
Modern Warfare 3 is the third title in the rebooted Modern Warfare trilogy and is set to launch next month on November 10, 2023. However, it's one of the most unique Call of Duty releases ever, as it's a direct sequel, releasinh just one year after Modern Warfare 2. Rumours before the game's reveal claim that the release was originally conceived as an expansion to Modern Warfare 2, skipping a normal release, but clearly Activision decided against that and is going ahead with the full release.
Pre-ordering the game will net you early access to the Modern Warfare 3 beta when that launches on Thursday, October 12. With PlayStation owners getting to play the beta a week earlier on Friday, October 6.
Modern Warfare 3 pre-order guide
Physical copies of Modern Warfare 3 only come in one edition, while digital versions are available in both standard and Vault Editions. The standard version of Modern Warfare 3 comes with the game, early access to the open beta and campaign, and the Soap Operator Pack. The PS4 and Xbox versions of the game are cross-gen bundle versions of the game, meaning that you'll get both the PS4 and PS5 version or the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S versions. Meanwhile, the digital versions on all consoles are the cross-gen bundle.
The Vault Edition comes with all of the above as well as the Nemesis Operator Pack, two Weapon Vaults, and Blackcell for one Season with 30 tier skips. The Vault Edition on PlayStation comes with 5 Battle Pass tier skips as an exclusive bonus. Meanwhile, gamers in the US have one extra option, as Walmart is offering an exclusive Modern Warfare 3 Limited Collector's Box. This version comes with the game and the following extras:
