Madisyn Shipman has opened up about joining Playboy, with the former Nickelodeon actor and singer having said that she feels empowered by her latest venture.
The 20-year-old content creator - who played Kenzie Bell on the show Game Shakers, which ran from 2015 to 2019 - has been teasing her work with Playboy on social media lately. She's also spoken about it in a new interview.
It's been reported that she's now on the Playboy creator platform, which allows fans to pay for exclusive access to photos, calls and other features from creators. It's said to encourage creators to express themselves and their sexualities.

She recently spoke about having joined Playboy's creator platform (Instagram/madisynshipman)Madisyn - who's also a singer, having released several songs over the course of her career so far - told Fox News Digital that a pal from Nickelodeon, who also went on to work for the brand, introduced her to the Playboy platform.
She said: "I always said, especially to my fans, that I was never going to join a paid creator platform because I didn't want to show my body." She added: "So I made this clear to Playboy, and they said, 'You don’t have to do that.' [...] If you want to show everything, you're more than welcome to, but you don’t have to."

Madisyn said that the opportunity has proved "lucrative," sharing with the outlet that she is now able to "fully self-fund" her music career and she has her own house. She credited Playboy for helping her have "so much financial freedom".
The content creator - who poses in lingerie and bikinis on the platform - said that it's "such an honour" to work to be a part of the brand. Her experience recently included working in the Bahamas along with other content creators.
She's known for having previously been a cast member on Nickelodeon show Game Shakers (WireImage)Madisyn said that she used to feel a "sense of repression in terms of [her] sexuality and showing [her] body," suggesting that growing up on a Nickelodeon show was partially responsible. "You've got to be presented as a little girl constantly," she said, before saying that she had a "bit of an identity crisis" when the show ended.
She further told the outlet that she's now "reclaiming" her power and her sexuality, doing "what makes [her] happy". She said that it's "empowering" to be able to pose in a bikini or lingerie and "feel great in [her] skin". She added that being able to do so in a "respected area" and receive such support is "so rewarding".
Madisyn said that most requests are "pretty tame," but there are some that she considers "odd". The content creator said she doesn't "entertain" requests that she isn't comfortable with and she that said her fans have been "supportive".
