If you're hoping to pick up the Meta Quest 3, here's how much the headset will set you back as well as which retailers are stocking the headset.
We've finally had confirmation of the Meta Quest 3 price in the UK following the Meta Connect 2023 event, with a 128GB model coming in at £479.99 / $499.99 / AU$799.99. If you're on the hunt for a larger capacity headset then you're in luck as Meta has also released a 512GB model which will set you back £619.00 / $649.99 / AU$1,049.99.
Meta Quest 3 pre-orders are now open with both editions up for grabs at multiple retailers. The headset will be shipping on October 10, 2023, less than two weeks after the keynote, making a relatively tight turnaround as we predicted.
Pre-ordering the Meta Quest 3 128GB edition also scores you a free copy of the upcoming title Asgard's Wrath 2, which runs natively on the device. If you opt for the 512GB edition, you can get your hands on the game as well as a 6-month trial of Meta Quest+ for free.

The new Meta Quest 3 features a new Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 processor, which Meta claims is twice as powerful in terms of GPU processing power than the Meta Quest 2.
Paired with this are high-fidelity coloured cameras on the front of the headset to allow for seamless passthrough and amazing augmented reality experiences which put the Apple Vision Pro to shame. Not only can you game with the Meta Quest 3, but you'll also be able to watch movies and work using the device thanks to access to productivity apps like Microsoft Office 365.
