New Netflix thriller Accused gets perfect 100 per cent rating on Rotten Tomatoes

You possibly haven't heard of it yet, but there's a new film on Netflix that has an incredible PERFECT score on reviews website Rotten Tomatoes.

It's not often a movie attracts such an enviable 100 per cent rating, but the utterly spellbinding Accused has done just that. So far, the film appears to have gone largely unnoticed on the streaming platform, but word-of-mouth is ensuring this thriller won't stay in the shadows for long - with fans falling over themselves to sing its praises on social media.

The story follows a young man, Harri (Chaneil Kular), who does his best to survive the night when a group of vigilantes hunt him down at an isolated mansion after wrongfully identifying him as a terrorist who detonated a bomb on a London tube.

This is a taut, engrossing drama which exudes inner city realism as it tackles weighty issues such as the power and perils of social media, xenophobia, racism, and online witchhunts. Directed by Philip Barantini, the man behind the Bafta-nominated Boiling Point which starred Stephen Graham, viewers have been left impressed by the film's harrowing script and stellar performances.

YouTubers were full of praise:
