EastEnders star Danielle Harold looked blurry eyed after winning big at the Inside Soaps Awards.

The actress was drinking champagne as she celebrated in style after bagging two awards in London on Monday. The 31-year-old came out of the Salsa Temple after the ceremony with a glass of champagne in hand, looking like she'd had a good time.

She looked blurry eyed after winning the Best Actress gong for her portrayal of Lola Pearce as well as the soap winning the Best Storyline award for the BBC soap's tragic Lola Pearce cancer storyline.

Danielle spent the night celebrating her wins with her friends while looking as glamorous as ever as she was seen giggling with friends and drinking fizz. The star dressed for the occasion as she wore a white pearl embellished suit which she matched with a silver clutch and sparkly earrings.

She also went up against her co-stars Diane Parish (Denise Fox) and Shona McGarty (Whitney Dean) for the gong. Meanwhile, Danielle's co-star and on-screen widower Jamie Borthwick, who plays Jay Brown, took home the Best Actor prize.

He went up against the likes of Coronation Street's David Neilson and Ryan Prescott, as well as Emmerdale's Dominic Brunt, Jeff Hordley and Kevin Mathurin.

It was an on-screen family affair at the awards as Isabella Brown, who plays Lola's daughter Lexi Pearce, won Best Young Performer, marking out another win for EastEnders.

Inside Soap editor, Gary Gillatt, said: "The beautifully played story of young mum Lola's cancer diagnosis, and her final few life-affirming months, captivated Inside Soap readers this year, and won out against powerful work from all the other shows. And the Best Soap win is well-deserved. It's been a golden year for EastEnders – a true renaissance."
