Love Island star Tasha Ghouri has announced a major new career move away from reality TV and modelling.
The 25-year-old, who appeared on last year's ITV2 show, is set to branch into the world of publishing as she announced she's written her own book. Tasha has teamed up with author Lizzie Huxley-Jones to write her debut novel. Taking to her social media, Tasha shared a pic of herself beaming as she held up a copy of her book.
She wrote: "I’m sooo excited to introduce HITS DIFFERENT – my first ever book, written with the amazing @littlehux! It’s a gorgeous summery romance about Cassie, a deaf dancer who jets off for a hot summer in Ibiza this is a story about finding self-love and falling in love which is really based on my own personal experiences and Cassie has characteristics of me! so it’s super special and I can’t wait to share it with you all! It’s out June 2024 from @HotKeyBooks and available to pre-order now via the link in my bio or from your local bookshop."
Also sharing the exciting news on X -formerly Twitter - Lizzie posted a pic of herself with Tasha, holing up their finished work. She wrote: "I’m so excited to announce that Tasha Ghouri and I have written a gorgeous summery romance called Hits Different, coming out June 2024! When deaf dancer Cassie is offered the job of a lifetime, she follows her dreams to Ibiza to not only true love but herself. Preorder now!"
Tasha was flooded with support from her Love Island pals, as Indiyah Polack wrote: "Awww love this Tasha." Sanam Harrinanan commented: "This is amazing, congratulations!" Jess Harding said: "This is incredible," while Whitney Adebayo added: "Ooo! You goooo girl." The reality star met her boyfriend Andrew Le Page on last year's Love Island, and he gushed over her latest achievement, writing: "Congratulations babe xxx."

The model and activist was the first deaf contestant on Love Island and admitted she "didn't expect to find someone like Andrew". But her boyfriend has even been a "voice" for her since leaving the show after she felt pressure to act a certain way because she wore a cochlear implant throughout her time on the show.
They recently jetted to Spain for Tasha's seventh holiday this year where they were seen soaking up the sun in Marbella and keeping fans up to date with some snaps on Instagram. So far this year, they've enjoyed holidays in Cornwall, Australia, Paris, Spain, Mexico and California.
To celebrate their one-year anniversary this summer, the couple headed on a romantic trip away to Paris. Sharing the trip to Instagram, Tasha wrote: "A year ago today I asked you to be my boyfriend and a year later here we are! You’re the kindest, sweetest, loving person I’ve ever met. Thank you for being the light in my life, the best light. Here’s to many more memories and giggles with you! Let’s go drink some more champs, ily!!!"
