Shannon Beador, one of the main cast members of Real Housewives of Orange County, is said to have been charged with drink driving after allegedly hitting a house in Newport Beach, California.
The reality TV star is said to have driven her car onto a residential property in Southern California before hitting the house slightly and then getting back on the road, according to police. She allegedly parked her car in the middle of the street and got out with her dog, pretending to be on a walk when police responded to a 911 call.
At present, there is no word as to who made the call to law enforcement, and the exact damage to the house remains unclear.
A representative for the Newport Beach Police Department told TMZ that Shannon was charged with two misdemeanours - a hit and run and driving under the influence of alcohol. She reportedly was released without bond and was not shooting for the next season of Real Housewives, so it's likely no live footage will make its way onto the Bravo reality show.
Shannon has been on the Real Housewives franchise for nine years, joining the cast in season nine in 2014. The most recent season, number 17, premiered in June of this year with episodes still premiering.
