Two men have been charged by Irish authorities with possession of explosives in connection with an alleged planned terrorist attack by a far-right extremist group.

A further two PSNI officers have retired while under investigation for new complaints into the mishandling of the Jonathan Creswell case, bringing the total who have quit to four.

The girl was struck by a car shortly after 4pm on Wednesday near Castledawson in County Londonderry.
