Alessia Russo joined Arsenal this summer, leaving WSL runners-up Manchester United

It has been another busy summer in the WSL transfer market.

The small matter of the 2023 Women's World Cup didn't prove too much of a distraction with 11 of the 12 clubs bringing in a minimum of five new faces. WSL holders Chelsea didn't waste any time in moving quickly to replace senior duo Magda Eriksson and Pernille Harder to Bayern Munich.

The Champions signed Canadian defender Ashley Lawrence from PSG and highly rated forward Catarina Macario from Lyon. London rivals Arsenal have also made major moves, bringing in Alessia Russo from WSL runners-up Man Utd and World Cup star Amanda Ilestedt.

Meanwhile on deadline day United brought in World Cup winner Irene Guerrero, as well as holding onto England goalkeeper Mary Earps, after rejecting a bid from Arsenal in the final week of the window. The Red Devils then completed the signing of highly rated Everton defender Gabby George. Arsenal were still active despite failing in a move for Earps, signing Australia midfielder Kyra Cooney-Cross from Swedish side Hammarby IF.

Here is every WSL transfer this summer ahead of the new season starting on October 1.
