Lil Nas X was forced to arrive late to his own film premiere amid an alleged "bomb threat", which is said to have been "targeted at the rapper".
Due to be in attendance for the Toronto Film Festival in Canada for the premiere of his own documentary Lil Nas X: Long Live Montero last night (September 9), the rapper ended up turning up late, which led to the event being delayed after an alleged bomb threat was called in, according to reports.
The premiere was due to begin at 10pm local time at the Roy Thomson Hall, with Lil Nas X delayed for 20 minutes in total. Prior to the rapper's arrival, guests began to arrive with the documentary’s co-directors Carlos López Estrada and Zac Manuel and editor Andrew Morrow arriving on the red carpet to pose for the paparazzi. But sadly, Lil Nas X was nowhere to be seen at first.

Variety has reported the bomb threat had been called in and the artist, Lil Nas X, "was told to hold". One source told the publication the threat specifically targeted the rapper "for being a Black queer artist".
According to IMDB, Lil Nas X's documentary "follows the trailblazing rapper, singer, and songwriter...as he embarks on his first-ever tour". Branded as an "intimate portrait of an artist navigating identity, family, expectations and acceptance", the movie takes an in-depth look into the musician's life.

This comes after the Georgia-born singer and rapper was taken aback in July when he was in the middle of his European Lollapalooza set in Stockholm. An item was randomly lobbed on-stage amid the shocking string of on-stage attacks. But luckily for Lil Nas, the object thrown on-stage didn't hurt him, and actually had more a joke undertone to it. While singing to the crowds, one concertgoer decided to throw a very strange object in the direction of the rapper.
The object, which was thrown at Lil Nas X's feet, was an adult toy that "mimicked a vagina" according to reports, which left the singer and rapper asking one hilarious question. "Who threw they p**** onstage?"
