One EuroMillions winner, who pocketed a £148million fortune with his wife, has reportedly opened a £110-a-night Airbnb in his back garden to top up his riches.

Adrian Bayford walked away with the eyewatering jackpot back in 2012, making him and his wife Britain’s biggest ever lottery winners at the time.

But the dad-of-two has now reportedly opened up an Airbnb in the back garden of his massive estate with the aim of topping up his huge fortune.

Since the news was first reported the listing has now seemingly been taken down.

The three-bed farmhouse was available for rent for anywhere from £110-£171 a night depending on demand.

It was described as “tastefully decorated” with a modern kitchen/diner, cosy living room, downstairs toilet, master bedroom, twin room, single room and bathroom.

Guests could enjoy a private garden with a patio and seating area.

The Grade II listed property is thought to be on the grounds of Adrian’s £12m estate, with friends reportedly baffled why the millionaire is letting strangers stay just 240 feet from his mansion even though he hasn't lived there for years.

After a series of relationship failures he moved up north to be closer to his children.

The property lay vacant for a few years, but Adrian had to up security last year on the 148-acre estate when squatters used his swimming pool.

But, according to The Sun, the rental would earn him similar to what he could earn in a matter of minutes in interest on the original winnings.

The dad has been notoriously unlucky with love since he pocketed the money, having split up from his wife Gillian around 15 months after they won together.

She moved back to Scotland with her share of the winnings where she launched a company and has since remarried.

A second failed romance followed for Adrian, and a friend reportedly questioned if he understood just “how rich he really is” after the move.
