After an action-packed first month of the new Premier League season, the international break is upon us.

Arsenal have made an impressive start to the campaign, having collected 10 points from a possible 12. They have beaten Nottingham Forest, Crystal Palace and Manchester United, as well as drawing against Fulham.

In fact, the Gunners are one of six Premier League teams still unbeaten. Manchester City, West Ham, Tottenham, Brentford and Liverpool are the others not to have lost a top-flight game this season.

Although the Gunners have a two-week break between fixtures before they return to face Everton, 16 players could be occupied with matches during the international break.

Following Declan Rice's summer move from West Ham, Arsenal have four players in Gareth Southgate's England squad. Aaron Ramsdale, Bukayo Saka and Eddie Nketiah are the others to be named in the Three Lions contingent to take on Ukraine in a Euro 2024 qualifier, before facing Scotland in a friendly.

Gabriel could make his Brazil debut after being named in Tite's 23-man squad to face Bolivia and Peru in 2026 World Cup qualifying. Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus are also part of the Brazil contingent this month.

Meanwhile, Martin Odegaard is expected to feature for Norway in a friendly against Jordan and a crucial Euro 2024 qualifier against Georgia. The same applies to Ukraine captain Oleksandr Zinchenko, who has two vital Euro 2024 qualifying matches to come at home to England, though the game will be played in Poland, and away in Italy.

William Saliba is with the France camp for matches against Republic of Ireland and Germany, Jakub Kiwior has been called up to the Poland squad and Spain's David Raya could gain valuable minutes away in Georgia and when his nation face Cyprus on home turf.

As for the four other internationals, Belgium ace Leandro Trossard has matches against Azerbaijan and Estonia on his agenda, Karl Hein's Estonia will face Sweden, Kai Havertz's Germany take on Japan and France and Takehiro Tomiyasu is likely to feature for Japan against Germany and Turkey.
