Beyonce's lavish Labor Day as she marks 42nd birthday in style with Kris Jenner
Beyonce certainly knows how to party and her 42nd birthday was no different, seeing in the celebrations on another huge day in history - Labor Day.
The songstress took in hers (and her country's) special day with her nearest and dearest at a lavish shindig in Malibu. Queen Bey was spotted celebrating with husband Jay-Z, while her mum Tina was also at the event. It wasn't known if Bey's twins Rumi and Sir or their sister Blue Ivy were at the bash at venture capitalist Aviv Nevo's luxury home.
As the Knowles family were keen to see in the big day, they were also joined by a number of other A-list stars including Kris Jenner.

The superstar singer was seen sporting a pair of casual jeans, a cream bohemian style blouse and a multi-coloured bucket hat. She positioned herself on the balcony of the property to meet and greet fellow party-goers.
It seemed as though her heels however weren't the most comfortable choice, as the music icon opted to carry the items instead. Hubby Jay-Z sported a white shirt and seemed to be enjoying cigar in the Malibu sunshine.

The kid-friendly soiree saw the families all smiling as they sat and enjoyed the day in each other's company in the secluded spot. It is far from the first time the former Destiny's Child singer has enjoyed an extravagant birthday party. Last year she celebrated in Bel Air with celebs including Drake, Zendaya, Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Tristan Thompson and Offset all invited to share the moment.

The latest lavish get together comes as the United States honours and to recognises the American labour movement and the works and contributions of labourers who helped develop the country. It also marks the end of the Crazy in Love singer's explosive three-day stint at Los Angeles SoFi Stadium, which saw a long list of celebs attend, including Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.
She had a specific request to anyone in attendance at her showstopper - wear silver. And even the Duke and Duchess obliged, even though Harry's coat brought a lot of attention. Online users on social media quickly questioned whether it was a jacket made for a woman as the buttons appeared to be on the female side. The tradition originates back to Victorian times when women would have often had maids to help them get dressed.

And while the former Suits actress sang along to the Single Ladies songstress with mum Doria Ragland, the prince seemed less thrilled to be there. He was snapped looking a bit more glum while in the pricy box at the venue. Body language expert Judi James explained to the Mirror how Meghan and her mum "dropped their inhibitions" at the gig, while Harry was busy "staring out ahead".
"In one photo he’s standing back, away from the group and checking his phone. In another, he stands grim-faced and with his hands in his pockets, staring out ahead while a friend at the front seems to have turned, smiling, to urge him to join in," she continued.
