Emmerdale's Rosie Bentham unveils mystery boyfriend who is 'just a normal guy'
Emmerdale's Rosie Bentham has revealed she's just started dating a mystery man as she admits she likes 'normal guys' over showbiz hunks.
The actress, 22, has played man-eater Gabby Thomas in the soap since 2016 and her character has been involved in a number of raunchy storylines. However, Rosie says she's nothing like her character and prefers to keep her private life out of the spotlight. Opening up about her relationship status, she said: "I would say that I’m getting to know someone at the moment but I’m very private when it comes to my love life. I’m only 22 and things can go wrong pretty quickly at my age, so we’re just taking things slowly. We’re all finding our way."

Soap actress Rosie is yet to share snaps of her mystery beau on her social media platforms, keeping his identity a secret for now.
Sassy Gabby has had her fair share of men in Emmerdale, with Rosie saying she's a 'lot of fun to play'. However, the actress insists she's the polar opposite of her character and is "always very well behaved on a night out". Opening up about filming Gabby's saucy scenes on set, Rosie revealed they're not actually that "sexy", explaining it was more important to 'get the angle right'. She also said actors could request an "intimacy co-ordinator" if they need help with romantic scenes – but added that she'd never needed to.

Emmerdale fans were fuming recently when a worse-for-wear Gabby blackmailed Billy Fletcher over their clandestine kiss, insisting he beat up Nicky, saying: "You should never keep secrets from your wife, Billy, it never ends well!" Her arrogant antics were shot down by viewers, with many insisting Billy just tell Dawn the truth. One person said: "I hope Billy tells Gabby to shove it & tells Dawn about the kiss. #Emmerdale". While another penned: "Billy, just go and tell Dawn what happened. Who do you think she’ll believe? #Emmerdale."
The backlash comes after Rosie opened up about Gabby's motives with Billy, telling Inside Soap magazine: "It was a moment of madness that she comes to regret. She’s seeking validation from any man. She’s completely lost; I just picture Gabby waking up in the morning and feeling like her life is chaos."
Sharing more about what's to come for her the mum-of-one, she added: "She needs to reset. Heartbreak can be long and tedious but she knows that she needs to get it all out. The tears need to come. Hopefully she’ll come back with a different head on with regards to the Nicky situation," but it looks like it won't be plain sailing as Rosie added: "Gabby has a lot on her plate and the next few months are chaotic."
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
