Cher fans can't believe icon's age as she shares tips to achieve youthful look

Cher spoke to Good Morning Britain hosts Susanna Reid and Ed Balls from her home in Malibu as she revealed her secret for looking fabulous at age 77.

The iconic singer and founder of animal charity Free The Wild left GMB viewers shocked as the stunning star spoke about the importance of feeling younger than her years.

After being complimented on her looks, Cher said: "I remember when my friend Paulette and I were talking about when we're going to cut our hair and stop wearing jeans because it seemed in those days that's what women did and it's not happened yet. I will be 80 at some point, sooner than I wish and I will still be wearing my jeans and I will still be wearing long hair and I will still be doing all the same stuff I've always done."

Susanna, who was sporting a new shorter hairstyle, quipped: "I love the hanging on to long hair, I've literally just cut mine and now I feel should I regret it?", To which Cher joked: "It'll grow!"

When asked what her secret is for looking so fabulous, Cher said: "Well, I don't know, genes in my family are pretty amazing. I don't know if not feeling old makes you younger, I'm not sure, I keep up with the trends and have lots of young friends, I have old friends too. I'm not trying to feel young, I'm not trying to be young, I am who I am."

Good Morning Britain fans rushed to compliment the icon as one viewer tweeted: "Cher looks stunning, btw! #GMB," and another wrote: "Cher not looking bad at 77 #GMB."

"Oh my Sweet Lord ! Seeing Cher when I turn on my television is a godsend on a Monday morning. She is my absolute queen. Forget the regals. She is HRH. #Cher #GMB #goodmorningbritain," a third said and another added: "I love how @GMB are interviewing @cher I love how passionate Cher is for these elephants! Also how amazing does Cher look!! #GMB."

Someone else added: "OMG how old is Cher? She looks fabulous and about 40. AND she saved an elephant #GMB."
