Police are said to be investigating an alleged 'satanic' wall in the home of a woman accused of poisoning her in-laws with toxic mushrooms.
Erin Patterson, 48, became the subject of an police probe after a lunch at her home in Victoria,Australia in July ended with multiple people mysteriously falling ill. Three members of her ex-husband Simon's family were killed by toxic mushrooms, thought to be the lethal death cap fungus. No-one has yet been charged by police in connection with the deaths.
Last month, a tradesman claimed they were paid to erase disturbing scribbles on an interior wall of her old home in the town of Korumburra, where the couple lived before they split up. A photo showed the outlines of daggers and decapitated heads scrawled on the surface.

He told the publication: "The police were inquiring about it. They wanted to see it. They had heard about it."
The drawings, which are about the size of a poster, show daggers and decapitated heads surrounding two tombstones. Words included in the pieces - one of which is dated August 1, 2021 - include the words "you are dead by the sword" and "you will die within a year". The tradesman - who does not want to be named - claimed he had to cover the scribbles with six layers of paint before they were covered. Another person who saw them described the writing and images as "Satanic".

The son - who was originally due to attend the meal but was forced into a change of schedule by other commitments - revealed that his parents died the day after each other, and said he spent a number of days with them in hospital before they eventually passed away. While Don was able to survive an emergency liver transplant, he said the "rest of his body was already too sick to go on past that point".
Ms Wilkinson's partner, Ian, remains critically ill in hospital after attending the same meal. A funeral was held for Don and Gail last Thursday, where Simon described his parents as "a team, working at life together", local publication Perth Now reported. He added: "The fact they died on consecutive days is fitting in some ways, as it reflects the togetherness as a couple that they always worked so hard to grow." Erin Patterson was not at the memorial service, and has repeatedly claimed that the beef wellington she served one the day contained dehydrated mushrooms she had purchased at least three months before.
