Naga Munchetty issues witty response to troll after they call her ‘sleazy’ over BBC Breakfast outfit choice

Naga Munchetty has hit back at a troll after they called her BBC Breakfast outfit 'sleazy'.

The presenter responded in the best way possible after she saw what the viewer had said about her outfit choice. The 48-year-old appeared on Saturday morning’s show wearing a grey silk dress and went for a full glam makeup look and red lip.

However, it seems one person wasn't keen on the TV star's look, writing on Twitter: "What is @TVNaga01 wearing?? Looks like she’s come straight to work from a night out at a sleazy single’s nightclub…"

Naga wasn't going to let this one slide as she hit back saying: "Sssssh... don't tell anyone. (btw - it's called a dress)." She was praised by her fans for her funny reply, with many defending her as one said: "I LOVE what you wear Naga!!! ALWAYS so stylish."

Another added: ""What is it with people they have to criticise what people wear," with a third agreeing: "I love all your outfits. The most stylish presenter on TV and the most articulate."

This comes after Naga opened up about a debilitating leg injury that she's dealing with. She shared a candid picture of her bandaged legs on Thursday morning, revealing that she has been treating her legs.

She wrote: "Have been using these supports again for running. Am able to go a little bit further and faster and fear injury less. It worked today for my run home. Happy Thursday x"

Fans of the star rallied around her and left messages of support. One wrote: "Until I started running in long socks I was always pulling calf muscles. The problem stopped! And in 2022 I was 1st of 173 over 60s in the London Winter Run. Blessed be long socks. Brag over!"

"I have worn compression socks for about 10 years now Naga. Used to get a lot of calf injuries (footy related!) but since wearing the socks not one injury!!," another added.

As a third commented: "I used to feel self conscious running in them, until I remembered what the rest of me looked like after a 10k. The socks were not the most noticeable thing about me at that point."
