Salah record bid prepared as Jurgen Klopp makes key addition to squad

Liverpool's active summer finally came to an end on deadline day with yet more midfield movement.
Jurgen Klopp has seen mass changes in the middle of the park with five of his stalwarts all departing, including captain Jordan Henderson. Over £100m was spent on the likes of Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai as the club looked to do business up until the final hours.
There concern over the coming days will be the threat of Saudi Arabia's millions. Already they've lost several names to the Middle East and clubs from the Saudi Pro League could return to see if they can poach anymore of the top talent at Anfield.
Here's the latest from Liverpool.
Gravenberch move done late
Ryan Gravenberch sealed his move from Bayern Munich late on Friday after completing his medical and going through the various protocols. The Reds have paid £35m to land the Dutch midfielder, who had struggled for minutes during his time in Germany.

He was highly-rated at Ajax, but failed to get many opportunities at Bayern and made it known he wanted to seek a new challenge. Klopp has seen a host of midfielders leave and wanted to get more bodies through the door.
The new signing said: “I’m really looking forward to [being at Anfield] and I can’t wait to hear the You’ll Never Walk Alone song. Now we start fresh again, a new start, and I’m going to give my all for this club. [My ambitions are] to win prizes. To win prizes, play a lot and show them who we are and who I am.”

Salah bid rejected, second offer poised
The Saudi Pro League tested Liverpool's resolve with a hefty bid in the region of £150m as they look to land Mohamed Salah, only to see it rejected. Al-Ittihad are the team chasing the Egyptian and are expected to return with a world-record bid.
The Saudi transfer market stays open longer than the Premier League's, meaning teams can continue doing business, which leaves Liverpool in a precarious position. A world-record offer of £200m has been reported but not yet been lodged.
Salah could earn weekly wages of £1.5m if he opted to move to Saudi Arabia and join the likes of Karim Benzema and Neymar. Klopp has already aired his concerns regarding the wealth of the Saudi sides, who have raided Europe over recent months and could continue to do so.
Duo depart on loan
Tyler Morton has left Liverpool on loan, following James Norris out of the door.
Morton made the move to Championship outfit Hull City with the switch being agreed in principle earlier in the summer. Morton remains a young prospect but will spend the year away from Anfield to aid his development.
Norris meanwhile, who has made his senior debut for the Reds, has made the short journey to Tranmere, where he will spend the season. He said: "This is the first club I came to. This is where I signed my first football contract when I was eight or nine, and then moved on to Liverpool so it's come back around and I'm back at Tranmere."
