Chelsea are set to green-light a nine-man Stamford Bridge exodus as Mauricio Pochettino attempts to cut his squad down to size.
The Blues have had another extremely busy summer under Todd Boehly. The American’s spending has ticked over the £1billion mark since he replaced Roman Abramovich at the helm in West London.
Chelsea’s latest big-money acquisition saw them seal the £42.5m signing of Manchester City wideman Cole Palmer. With just hours left of the summer window, the attention now turns to shipping a number of players out. The Blues’ record signing Romelu Lukaku has already quit Stamford Bridge. He returned to Italy for a loan spell with Serie A giants Roma, where he is reunited with ex-Chelsea and Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho.
He could be very quickly followed by academy graduate Callum Hudson-Odoi. After seeing a move to Fulham fall through earlier this summer, he is reportedly on the verge of a £5m switch to Nottingham Forest.
He is currently at the Reds’ training ground ahead of his move to the Midlands. Fellow youth team graduate Trevoh Chalobah may be the next to bid farewell to Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea complete record-breaking Enzo Fernandez transfer after deadline day rushThe defender is at the heart of talks between Chelsea and Bayern Munich as Thomas Tuchel attempts to stage a reunion at the Allianz Arena. The Blues have set a £50m asking price, which could potentially put the German giants off - especially as they chase a deal for Fulham’s Joao Palhinha.

The academy exits could be set to continue. Tottenham are eyeing a move for midfielder Conor Gallagher as they attempt to find a replacement for Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.
Ian Maatsen could also be a surprise sale. The defender, who spent last season on loan at Burnley, is stalling on a new Chelsea contract amid interest from the Clarets and Premier League rivals West Ham.
Bashir Humphreys and Mason Burstow are both candidates to leave the club. Mauricio Pochettino is keen for the duo to stay in West London but late loan offers could potentially change the Argentine’s mind.
Marc Cucurella’s future remains up in the air. The Blues were previously in talks with Manchester United regarding a loan move to Stamford Bridge but that now seems unlikely amid the Reds’ decision to instead move for his compatriot Sergio Reguilon.
Finally, Deivid Washington could be a further exit before the close of play. The 18-year-old Brazilian only arrived at Chelsea in a £17.2m move from Santos last week but could yet leave the club on loan.
