Logan Paul spent $7,000 on cake of Dillon Danis for first face-off with rival

Logan Paul spent $7,000 on a cake that he threw at rival Dillon Danis during their pre-fight press conference in Manchester last week.

The YouTube star has been on the receiving end of a vitriolic build-up from Danis, which has also drawn in his fiancee Nina Agdal with a series of mocking posts. But he went for an unique comeback when the pair finally came face-to-face last week, bringing a cake to 'celebrate' his opponent turning 30.

Danis was seemingly unfazed by the stunt, which ended in the cake being smashed and Paul holding the head aloft like a trophy as the teams were dragged apart. The pair weren't able to face off after the press conference was over, but did do an head-to-head interview prior to the show which will be released on the week of their October 14 bout.

"I got a cake of Dillon Danis," Paul told KSI on a new episode of Impaulsive, in which the pair interviewed football star Erling Haaland. The Brit called the stunt "phenomenal", to which he replied: "I took the head and hit his face with his face - it was $7,000, just like he is he's a camel-toe, knocked out.

"I can't wait for [the face-to-face] to come out because when Dillon showed up to this face-to-face, dude, I'm not just saying this to be a tough guy, the man was melting. A puddle of a man, he locked himself in his room for 30 minutes, showed up late, was ghosting us.

"We went on a live and shamed him into coming down, he's nervously sweating - I did a whole bit and I think it's coming out fight week so we've got a while. I can see why he's a Twitter warrior, bro. He ain't about it in real life, he's just a f***ing whiny, fake liar - the problem is he's super vocal.

Many fans commented on stories about the cake's price claiming that regardless of the amount Paul spent, he still lost the press conference. Danis has been acid-tongued on social media, and while he was less than articulate on stage, many viewers felt he still outshone Paul, who relied on a series of props to get his point over.
