Vanessa Feltz faces calls to be axed from Celebs Go Dating after furious clash

Vanessa Feltz has faced calls from fans to be booted off Celebs Go Dating as they slammed her disgusting rant.

The TV personality is currently appearing on the dating show as she tries to find love after splitting from her long-term partner earlier this year. However, viewers have said she should be "chucked off the show" after she snapped at relationship experts Paul Carrick Brunson and Anna Williamson on Thursday's episode.

The 61-year-old was left upset after being set up on a date with musician Jerome, who she said resembled her cheating ex Ben Ofoedu. The experts took her to one side as they noticed she wasn't happy – only to be faced with a rant from her.

Vanessa said: "This is an identikit of the relationship that I've just come out of. So this is a gentleman, charming, handsome, who is in a band. Who tours, so that's the last thing I want is some itinerant, horny musician. I've had that." After being asked if she was "closed off" Vanessa clapped back: "I am, and I don't wish to be corrected on that." Paul replied: "But we're not here to convince you to go back on your feelings. We're just trying to dissect what we heard."

Vanessa said: "Well it's not hard to dissect as I've explained it clearly to you. You should understand me the first time I say it, because I've said it with the utmost clarity." Fans weren't happy with the TV presenter's behaviour as they said she was being "rude". One wrote: "God, Vanessa's just plain rude to anyone and everyone!"

A second simply demanded: "Chuck her out the agency," with another adding: "Oh shush Vanessa, let Paul get a word in!"

However, some pointed out that it seems Vanessa hasn't completely healed from her last relationship. Someone commented: "Vanessa wasn't ready to date so she shouldn't have joined the show. But She's desperate to be in a relationship." A second agreed: "Vanessa is far too recently damaged to even be entertaining going on this show. she needs to step back and heal."

Vanessa and Ben split back in January when it came out that he had been messaging another woman. Ben later confirmed the rumours amid his split after 17 years with Vanessa.
