There are just three days left of the summer transfer window, but it is still set to be a busy period for Arsenal.

The Gunners have made four signings this season, with Declan Rice, Kai Havertz, Jurrien Timber and David Raya arriving at the Emirates Stadium. Boss Mikel Arteta is now turning his attention to moving on the players at the lower end of the pecking order.

Nicolas Pepe, Rob Holding and Emile Smith Rowe are all prime candidates to depart, though time is quickly ticking down for the trio to complete exits. Here, Mirror Football rounds up the latest Arsenal transfer news as the clock ticks down on the summer window.

Pepe turns down exit

Arsenal outcast Nicolas Pepe has turned down a move to Turkey as the Gunners try to move the attacker out of the club. Pepe joined for a club record fee, but failed to make an impact and spent last season on loan at Nice.

Both the Gunners and Pepe himself have been trying to find him a new club this summer as he enters the final year of his contract. One interested suitor has been Besiktas, who finished third in the Turkish Super Lig last season.

But according to Foot Mercato, a move to the Istanbul-based side has been 'ruled out' by the winger. He does have other suitors, with clubs from Germany and Saudi Arabia weighing up moves.

Holding departure imminent

Rob Holding is expected to leave Arsenal this week, before the summer transfer window slams shut. The defender has fallen way down the pecking order and even the injury to Jurrien Timber is not likely to keep him at the club.

The 27-year-old is keen to play regular football, with talkSPORT reporting that discussions are ongoing between Arsenal chiefs and Holding himself over a solution. Luton Town, Mallorca and Sevilla are all eyeing the defender.

And boss Mikel Arteta is ready to sanction an exit for the Englishman, who has been at Arsenal since 2016. With Ben White, William Saliba, Gabriel and Jakub Kiwior all ahead of him, Holding's Arsenal career appears to be over.

Pochettino drops transfer hint

Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino has hinted more arrivals are imminent as the Blues continue to be linked with a move for Emile Smith Rowe. The attacker has fallen out of favour at the Gunners, with Pochettino now insisting he is keen to bring in more signings before Friday.

"I know the club is working hard to finish our business. There is still a few days. Can something happen? Maybe, yes. At the moment I am only working and trying to deliver what we want. But there is nothing to communicate at the moment," he said.

"I am happy with the squad we have got so far. If we had someone who can maybe improve different positions of course they are welcome but I am happy with how we are now."
