Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has described Roy Keane's sense of humour as "dry" - but he loves having a "laugh" with the Sky Sports pundit.

Keane has parked his managerial career to become one of the Premier League's most popular pundits. The former Manchester United captain appears on Sky most weekends and has a reputation for his scathing verdicts and superb one liners.

Keane recently hit the headlines for his comical reaction to Daniel Sturridge singing Usher's nineties hit 'Nice and Slow' during Sky's coverage of Chelsea's 1-1 draw with Liverpool. Keane watched stony-faced before joking: "Where did it all go wrong?"

Keane's reaction left Sturridge and fellow pundit Micah Richards in stitches. Hasselbaink confirms Keane isn't someone to dance and sing behind the scenes, but he insists the legendary midfielder enjoys having a laugh with his Sky colleagues.

Hasselbaink spoke as an ambassador for LiveScore's Life-changing Goals campaign, which will see a £25 charity donation for every goal scored in the world’s top 25 leagues, as well as those scored at grassroots level shared on social media with #LiveScore25.

Mirror Football asked the Chelsea legend what it's like to work alongside Keane on Sky's Super Sunday coverage. Hasselbaink laughed: "Roy is Roy! Behind the scenes he's a very cool guy who jokes. He's got a dry (sense) of humour.

"He's not somebody that will dance and all that kind of stuff, that's not Roy. But Roy's a cool guy. I love working with him and we always have fun and a laugh."

Keane developed a reputation as a no-nonsense hardman during his playing days. The Irishman was part of Sir Alex Ferguson's squad at Old Trafford for 12 years, helping them win several trophies - including seven Premier League titles and the Champions League.

Sturridge has joined Sky's punditry team for the new Premier League season. The two-time Champions League winner, who hasn't played since leaving Australian side Perth Glory last year, has received praise for his insight and light-hearted approach to punditry.

Hasselbaink will get the chance to work alongside Sturridge on Super Sunday over the coming months, although he won't be following in the former Liverpool's stars footsteps. "I won't be dancing though or singing!" Hasselbaink laughs.
