Christine Lampard was forced to issue an apology on Friday's Lorraine episode after a guest accidentally let slip a swear word live on-air. During the latest episode, Ollie Locke and his husband Gareth introduced their adorable newborn twins.

After the sweet interview, guest host Christine, 44, teased details about their next interview, singing legend Shania Twain, to which Gareth accidentally let slip a swear word. The new father said: "I met her actually, at The Brits", adding: "But I was a bit p**sed I can't remember what I said."

Christine was quick to react to the swear word as she remarked: "Oh, you know, he meant tipsy! Anyone at home, apologise for that, anyway..." Christine then went to the pre-recorded interview, where Ross King interviewed Shania, 57.

It comes as Ollie and his husband Gareth were left touched by a sweet surprise on Lorraine during Friday's episode as they introduced their adorable newborn twins.

The Made In Chelsea star finally announced the birth of his son and daughter with husband Gareth earlier this month, revealing they were born six weeks ago. Apollo Magnus Obi and Cosima Emily Bex were born seven weeks early, as Ollie confessed it was "scary" and that the couple didn't want to share news of their birth until they were "safe". Apollo was born weighing 3lb 10oz and Cosima was 2lb 11oz.

Appearing on Friday's episode of Lorraine with guest host Christine, Ollie and Gareth were left touched when Christine surprised the new parents with sweet gifts. Christine said: "Before we let you go, we have got you a little..." to which she pulled out a drink box, adding: "It is sparkling!" with Ollie replying: "Aw, darling! That is much needed!"

Yet there were more surprises as Christine added: "We've got you little babygrows, in a special Lorraine bag!" to which she produced a pink gift bag. Ollie then joked: "I hope they've got yours and Lorraine's face on them, I think that would just be fabulous! Just to make them as camp as possible, let's get Lorraine's face on them!"

To which Christine quipped: "Lorraine's face isn't on them, but mine is - no, only joking! I honestly couldn't feel happier for the two of you, it's wonderful, congratulations, they are just beautiful."
