Harry and Meghan ’s dream of a quiet life in America is in danger of being shattered by buses of tourists.
A royal sightseeing jaunt is promising to take passengers within feet of the couple’s Californian estate. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are said to have moved to Montecito to escape the glare of publicity after they quit royal duties in the UK. But all aboard the guided tour, which costs £958.84 for a group of six, will get to see many of the couple’s favourite hangouts in their adopted hometown.
In an extraordinary twist, the trips – advertised online as the Royal Celebrity Tour of Los Angeles and Montecito – are being run by a friend of Meghan’s estranged father. And photographer Karl Larsen claims Thomas Markle approves. The tour takes in a road close to the Sussexes’ £11m home as well as Meghan’s favourite shops and restaurants and the polo club where she kissed Harry last year.

There are even plans to expand the trip to Rosarito, in Mexico, so fans can meet Thomas, who fell out with Meghan before her 2018 marriage to Harry.
Karl, 54, who hosted a YouTube show with the Duchess’s dad said: “I’ve talked to Thomas about the tour and he said, ‘Oh my God, you might have a winner there.’ “I’ve also asked if we could go see him and he said, ‘Hold that thought.’ So hopefully one day… I’ve always thought I could turn what I know about Meghan and Harry into a tour. I’m sure it’s interesting to many people.”
