A thrilling 4-4 draw saw the game go to penalties where Miami triumphed before a 4-0 over Charlotte FC 4-0 saw them into the semi-final.
Their most recent victory was a 4-1 success on the road against the Philadelphia Union in the semifinals, featuring goals from Josef Martínez, Messi, Jordi Alba, and David Ruiz. Due to their making the Leagues Cup final, Inter Miami has secured a spot in the 2024 Concacaf Champions Cup.
