Jeff Stelling has confirmed he will be joining talkSPORT in his first role since leaving Sky Sports.
Stelling will join the station's Breakfast show, presenting for two days a week alongside former Rangers star Ally McCoist. The broadcaster will start work from December and will be heard on the airwaves on Mondays and Tuesdays.
He left Sky Sports at the end of last season, having spent 30 years with the broadcaster after becoming the face of its flagship Soccer Saturday results show. And Stelling revealed his delight at securing his next role, which will see him link up with much-loved pundit McCoist.
He said: “I’m so pleased to be joining the team at talkSPORT. As a long time listener to the show it’s a dream of mine to sit in the legendary chair and wake people up every Monday and Tuesday.
"I might not be looking forward to the 4:30 alarm call, but I am looking forward to getting stuck in with great guests, chat and fun every morning alongside the legendary Ally McCoist.”

Until Stelling's arrival in December, McCoist will be joined by Natalie Sawyer and Andy Townsend, with Alan Brazil fronting the other three mornings in the week.
McCoist will join Brazil on Wednesdays, with Gabby Agbonlahor co-hosting on Thursdays and Ray Parlour joining on Fridays. talkSPORT have also boosted their team with the signings of former Premier League managers Martin O'Neill and Alan Pardew.
Stelling will be joined by much-loved pundit Ally McCoist (TalkSPORT)Former Leicester boss O'Neill will make regular appearances on the White and Jordan show, while ex-Newcastle chief Pardew will co-host the station's football phone-in on Sundays. O'Neill will also provide expert commentary for talkSPORT's live coverage, alongside Danny Rose, Lianne Sanderson, Lucy Ward and Scott Minto.
The Mirror's Darren Lewis will also join talkSPORT to join the Monday Night Football team of Monday night team of Adrian Durham, Danny Kelly and former Liverpool and England midfielder Danny Murphy. The changes have delighted head of station Liam Fisher, who is excited to see all the new signings begin work.
