Coronation Street's Roy Cropper is left horrified next week after a teen on the cobbles offers to have sex with him in return for having a place to stay. In upcoming scenes, Lauren Bolton lands a job at his café Roy's Rolls thanks to Shona Platt. Later, Shona gives Lauren a pep talk on how to deal with awkward customers in the café as she trains her up.
The training is soon put to the test when Beth Sutherland accuses Lauren of short-changing her to which the teenager remains calm but proves her wrong. Shona is left impressed by Lauren as she praises her on the way she handled a difficult customer. Later, a proud Lauren tells on-off ex Max Turner how well work is going with the latter left pleased. However, things take an awkward turn when Lauren misreads the signal and tries to kiss him as he pulls away.

Worrying about Lauren's future, a kind Roy offers her food and a bed for the night before she makes any rash decisions. However, Roy is left horrified when she offers to sleep with him to show her gratitude and Lauren, who realises she has made another mistake, flees the café.
Later, in the café, a worried and concerned Roy leaves a message for Shona, hoping she might have heard from Lauren, who has disappeared, but neither Shona nor Max have heard from the troubled teenager. Eventually, Lauren calls at No.8 for her belongings and accidentally lets slip to a horrified Max and Shona that she made a pass at Roy as that is what men expect. Where will Lauren go and how will those around her react to her shocking news?
Lauren first appeared on the cobbles in 2022 with her father, Reece Bolton, grooming Max into joining Griff Reynolds' far-right extremist group. Lauren and Max eventually left the group after evil Griff was finally arrested while Reece was also sentenced to prison. Max also served a shortened six-month sentence for encouraging terrorism and was recently released from the Secure Training Centre.
