Former Strictly Come Dancing star Janette Manrara shared a sweet hospital picture of her and her husband Aljaž Škorjanec's newborn baby one week after giving birth. The 39-year-old and Aljaž, 33, welcomed Lyra Rose into the world at the end of last month.
She took to her Instagram page on Friday afternoon to share two photos of the happy family in the hospital room with her 573,000 followers. In the snap, Aljaž is beaming with joy as he leans over the bed to lovingly gaze at his happy wife and adorable newborn baby.
Another snap showcased Aljaž and Janette giving little Lyra Rose a kiss as they held onto the sleepy baby. She captioned the post: "How is this 1 week ago already?! They say babies grow fast and to enjoy the newborn stage as much as possible. We’re doing exactly that!
"Happy 1 week Lyra. Mami and Ati are so in love with you." Famous friends and fans immediately rushed to the comment section to compliment the happy family, with fellow Strictly professional dancers Amy Dowden and Nancy Xu posting heart emojis and heart-eye emojis.

At the end of July, Janette announced she welcomed her baby in a sweet Instagram post. Sharing a candid black and white photo of herself lying in a hospital bed with her daughter resting on her chest and a delighted Aljaž resting his hands on them, she wrote: "Lyra Rose Skorjanec. July 28, 2023."
The couple's co-stars and friends rushed to the comments to congratulate them, with Gemma Atkinson writing: "Just wonderful." While James Jordan wrote: "So happy for you both. Sending love from the Jordans."
The couple named their daughter Lyra Rose (Instagram)Janette and Aljaž's sweet choice of name for their baby daughter is of Greek origin and has a touching connection to their love of dance and music. It originates from the myth of Orpheus' legendary lyre - or harp - which was said to have played music so beautiful that it could move all animals, trees and even gods. The lyre was placed into the heavens as a consellation, with the name Lyra considered a gift for music-loving parents as a reminder to their child to reach for the stars.
The Strictly stars married in 2017 and announced their baby news back in February after they had been trying to conceive for more than two years.
After the couple told fans they had become parents for the first time, Aljaž took to his Instagram Stories to explain how his life has changed. Sharing a black and white photo of himself gazing at Lyra's crib, he wrote: "Love at every sight. I haven't moved today."
