"Where do you get another Jurgen Klopp for Liverpool?"
That's the question Jamie Carragher posed earlier in the season when Liverpool's poor form under the German brought about the suggestion that he is no longer the right boss for the Reds.
Klopp experienced arguably his lowest point as Liverpool boss on Tuesday night as he witnessed his side being dismantled by Carlo Ancelotti's superb Real Madrid at Anfield.
Liverpool raced into a two-goal lead in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 clash only to take their foot off the gas and pay the ultimate price - with the LaLiga giants finding the target five times.
Carragher was the most disappointed - well, certainly the most vocal - of all the Liverpool-aligned pundits following the match and labelled the result a "shambles", taking aim at everyone but particularly Virgil van Dijk.

But in an interview with Mirror Football earlier this season, Carragher explained that regardless of how bad things get at Liverpool under Klopp, replacing the manager is not an option.
And the simple reason why is that new playing talent is everywhere in football and a team going through transition is to be expected, but Klopp is one in a million.
"Liverpool is a unique football club in how they deal with managers. I don't think there are many clubs around the world like Liverpool," Carragher told Mirror Football.

"When Liverpool win the manager is the star it is all about the manager, and I like that about our club because it always gives the manager a sense of power and there is not too much panic from within the club that the manager would go.
"For instance, when Rafa Benitez first came the first season was really poor - I know Benitez won the Champions League - but in terms of the league, there were a lot of defeats.
"Gerrard Houllier was the same, but it was never a question as to whether that manager would go whereas if someone comes into Chelsea or even Manchester United with Erik ten Hag at the start of the season, people are questioning things.
"That would never happen at Liverpool really. I think it only happened once and that was Roy Hodgson and that wasn't just the results it just wasn't a right fit, but no, Jurgen Klopp will see his contract out.

"I think Dortmund found that out when he and Dortmund parted ways in their last season and I always remember an interview with a Dortmund chief saying we should have changed the players.
