Let's face it, eating healthy meals every day can feel like a chore sometimes, even though we know it's what is best for our bodies. If you're trying to lose weight, it can quickly feel as though you're limited to the same handful of bland-tasting foods and can't indulge in anything that actually tastes nice, and meals often take a long time to prepare and cook.

But one woman on TikTok has shared a meal prep plan that will guarantee you tasty and healthy meals every day of the week - and you only need to spend 15 minutes cooking. Isabelle Jayde shared a video in which she walked through the "lazy girl meal prep" plan that she uses for herself, which involves cooking your protein in one big batch so that it can be easily re-heated and used in meals throughout the week.

The fitness fan, from the US, explained that she often prepares her meals in advance so that she spends less time in the kitchen during her busy week, and said her video was for anyone who doesn't like to spend more than 20 minutes preparing a meal before tucking in.

In the clip, posted to her @isabelle_jayde account, she said: "If you are currently trying to lose weight or have any health and fitness goals but don't like the same things every day, and don't like to spend more than 20 minutes prepping, I'm going to take you through how I meal prep for the week. It takes less than 15 minutes and I'll show you all the different things that I make with it!"

Isabelle starts by cooking up a large packet of turkey mince, before stating she plans on adding some cauliflower rice to the pan to "fill" out her meals by "adding a lot of volume" to make meals go further. You can buy steamable bags of cauliflower rice from Asda for £2.50 for four bags, which you should be able to stretch into four meal prep plans by using one bag at a time.

After her meat was cooked, the woman added seasonings including salt, pepper, and garlic powder to bring some taste to her meals, and then mixed in her cooked cauliflower rice. Next, Isabelle poured the contents of her pan into a large bowl on some scales to measure out how much of her rice and meat mixture she had. She then explained she would divide the total weight of the food by four, as she was making four meals for that week.

Talking through her planned meals, she said: "Now that my protein is prepped, Monday I'm just going to throw two tortillas in there and do tacos, Tuesday I'm just going to put it over a bed of lettuce and do a salad, Wednesday I'll probably do rice and beans and make a chipotle bowl, or sometimes I'll put the meat in the tortillas and then put it in a pan with some enchilada sauce and bake them for 10 minutes for enchiladas. It all takes less than 10 minutes since you already have your protein prepped, and it'll help you reach your goals!"

Commenters were quick to praise Isabelle for making healthy meals look so easy to make, with many saying her tips have "helped so much" with their own weight loss journeys. One person wrote: "Thank you for this!! I'm going through a weight loss journey and this helps so much," while another posted: "Great meal prep idea!!"
