Going on a holiday abroad outside of the UK's 'hot' summer months can get tricky when it comes to buying a fresh new beachy wardrobe, as retailers rush to change their rails before the end of August. To make stocking up a little easier M&S has launched its 'viral' summer sale.
As Autumn fast approaches, a host of retailers are starting to drop discounts on summer stock - and M&S is no exception as its popular maxi dresses, swimwear, woven bags and linen trousers can all be found with up to 50% off. The sale kickstarted this morning across both women's and menswear fashion, kids, beauty and homeware.
Treating myself to some holiday outfits during the end of summer can be a challenge as there's almost no chance you can walk into a store in early September and find stock in the swimwear aisle. These are my top picks, which I added to my basket straight away.
The sale is filled with holiday staples like comfy airport outfits, bikini sets, evening dresses and casual cover-ups to throw on by the pool. If you're like me and trying to add more colour to your wardrobe there's a lot of stock left on its pink rafia sandals, which first caught my eye as they're pretty similar to Birkenstocks, the natural colour ones seemed to sell out within minutes.
Swimsuits are a popular feature too with bikini co-ords, maternity swimsuits, over-the-shoulder pieces and ribbed swimsuits, which could be a cheaper option for those with their eyes on the more expensive HunzaG styles.

As homeware is also in today's sale swim essentials including beach towels are also on offer and can be found for as little as £2.99 each. This Pure Cotton Lobster beach Towel is now £2.99 reduced from an original £12.50.
M&S isn't the only retailer as Monsoon, New Look, H&M and River Island add summer staples to its current womenswear sale racks.
