Arsenal are now primed and ready for the new Premier League season.
Mikel Arteta’s Gunners have been hard at work in the transfer window in an effort to bolster his squad. Declan Rice, Kai Havertz and Jurrien Timber have all arrived at the Emirates Stadium throughout the summer for a combined £200m.
Arsenal’s pre-season games are all also over and done with having rounded off their fixture list with a 1-1 draw against Monaco on home soil. The transfer window remains open for a few weeks with a few more targets in mind.
Take a look at all of the latest rumours coming out of the Emirates over the past 24 hours.
Ex-Tottenham striker Darren Bent has urged David Raya to turn down a move to Arsenal in favour of Premier League rivals Chelsea.
Mikel Arteta's dream Arsenal line up as last-gasp January transfers are secured“David Raya is better than Kepa Arrizabalaga,” he told talkSPORT. “So why would Chelsea not go for him? Auston Trusty is on the verge of leaving Arsenal for Sheffield United after undergoing a medical with the newly-promoted side. The Gunners are set to receive around £5m for his services with a deal having been thrashed out over the past couple of days.
Blades boss Paul Heckingbottom has confirmed that a deal is almost complete. Speaking to Radio Sheffield, he said: “I said I will give you my normal answer… But I think we are virtually there with that. He’s had a medical and we’re ready to go. It’s between the clubs.”
Trusty is set to leave Arsenal having never made a senior appearance for the Gunners.

While Trusty looks set to bid farewell to Arsenal, the Gunners’ former record signing Nicolas Pepe could follow him out of the Emirates exit door. The Ivorian looks unlikely to have a future with the Gunners.
After returning from his loan spell with Nice, he was left out of Wednesday’s squad against Monaco, whilst he also did not feature on the club’s matchday programme. Turkish outlet Fotomac suggest that Besiktas have already launched talks in an effort to sign him this summer.
Pepe has just one year left on his contract at the Emirates Stadium. He originally joined the club for a then club record £72m fee in 2019.
