Kylian Mbappe has confirmed that he is set to complete a sensational move to Real Madrid, according to fans at the very least.
The French striker looks set to leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer after expressing his intent not to sign a new deal at the Parc des Princes. That has led the reigning Ligue 1 champions to put him up for sale.
Saudi side Al-Hilal have already had a £259m bid for Mbappe accepted, only for the striker to spurn talks. That leaves just a handful of clubs able to afford his signature before the end of the transfer window.
Real Madrid are one of those having been strongly linked with a move for him in the past. Supporters are convinced that he is on his way to the Bernabeu after his latest social media activity.
Mbappe shared a host of pictures on his official Instagram account - one of which showing him playing cards and having a hand of three nines. Intriguingly, the number nine shirt is currently vacant in the Spanish capital following Karim Benzema's exit, with some fans believing that his compatriot will be claiming the number.
Hakim Ziyech brutally denied deadline day transfer as PSG furious at ChelseaOne fan replied: “3 cards with the 9, which is the number he will have at Madrid, 3 like the goals they scored yesterday, coincidence, I don't think so…”

Another wrote: “The 9 is vacant in Madrid. Good afternoon,” whilst a further supporter said: “Number 9 in Real Madrid,” with heart eyes emojis.
Whilst fans are convinced that Mbappe is on his way to the Bernabeu, Real boss Carlo Ancelotti appeared to cool talk over a move. Asked if his side were expecting any more signings before the end of the window, the Italian replied: “I think we are complete.
“The new players are doing very well. Brahim [Diaz] and Joselu have shown that they can contribute to the team offensively. I think the team has a lot of attacking options to give us chances to score goals.”
He was then asked specifically about Mbappe but remained tight-lipped over a potential swoop. “It doesn’t bother me when you ask me about him [Mbappe], but I’m not going to answer,” Ancelotti said.
Regardless of a move for Mbappe this summer, Real have already been very busy in the summer transfer market. They sealed an £88m move for Jude Bellingham early in the window, whilst they have followed that up with deals for Arda Guler, Fran Garcia and Joselu.
The Spanish giants could face competition from Liverpool for Mbappe. The Reds have opened talks in an effort to seal his services in a sensational loan deal.
However, it appears that they are prioritising a move for a midfielder having sold former captain Jordan Henderson to Al-Ettifaq, whilst Fabinho is set to follow him to Saudi Arabia.
