Amir Khan and his wife Faryal Makhdoom are reportedly living separately. In July, it was revealed that the English athlete had begged bridal model Sumaira for provocative photos and sent her flirtatious comments on her physique.
Khan had also seemingly asked Sumaria to promise to delete any incriminating images in a message which read: "Think I wana get caught out?” It has since been reported by the MailOnline that Khan, 36, and Faryal, 31, are living apart. "Faryal is taking time to think about whether or not to walk away," a source told the tabloid.
"She’s going through a very difficult time and choosing to focus on her children while she and Amir continue to co-parent." The couple share three children, daughters Lamaisah, 7, Alayna, 5, and a three-year-old son Muhammad.
Amir Khan and his glamorous Instagram influencer wife Faryal Makhdoom have separated and are currently living apart after the former world champion boxer was caught sexting another woman, MailOnline reports.
Khan’s tumultuous marriage to the mother of his three children is said to have been on the rocks since the sportsman approached bridal model Sumaira online and eventually asked her to send raunchy pictures.
Jake Paul calls on John Fury to make retirement bet for fight with son TommyKhan and Faryal are now separated and living apart, Mail Online reports. It is understood that the former world champion and Instagram influencer are splitting their time between their homes in Dubai and Britain while Faryal decides whether she wants to end their 10-year marriage.
The athlete came clean on the incident and admitted he makes mistakes when he gets bored. "Maybe I do need help to stop me from messaging other women," he admitted.
"I am willing to go to therapy to stop me sending texts to women who aren’t my wife. I think nowadays with mental health issues, any help goes a long way. It’s definitely something I would do. Things like that do help, so maybe it’s something to think about."
Faryal confronted her husband at their home in Dubai earlier this month after she heard about him begging a model for saucy pictures. "U look good on g string," Khan reportedly wrote in one of the messages. He also promised to delete any received photos.
Speaking to The Sun, Khan added: "The stupidest thing I did was to comment on this woman’s picture saying ‘nice’. I shouldn’t have done it. I have respect for my wife. I think I do these things out of boredom - I don’t think it’s that I can’t help myself.
"You get bored and start making mistakes. If I’m not careful, I will get myself into trouble - especially with the wife. She will end up saying, ‘I’ve had enough’."
Khan has admitted it's "not nice what I've done" but doesn't think his actions count as cheating. "It was just a few texts," he added. "But I regret doing it."
He has apologised to Faryal for his actions and wants to focus his energy on a new project after retiring from boxing. He plans to get back in training ahead of some exhibition fights and is also interested in featuring in some TV shows.
The Mirror has reached out to Amir and Faryal's representatives for comment.
