The hours are ticking down as Samsung gets ready to host its 2023 Galaxy Unpacked event, taking place this July 26 from the brand's home turf of Seoul, South Korea. As the tech firm gets ready to launch new devices many retailers have dropped their prices on it's 'old' 2022 products.
Including the Galaxy Watch 5 and Watch 5 Pro models which can now be bought for a lot cheaper, but not at Samsung. Although the brand has hinted at the new products that could be launched tomorrow thanks to its page of device deals, its £75 discount on Galaxy Watch 5 Promodels has been beaten by Currys.
The rival tech retailer is now offering shoppers £149 off the Galaxy Watch 5 BT trio and £100 off the Watch 5 Pro Golf Edition. That's not all, as the biggest discount can be found on the classic Galaxy Watch4 with a huge £269 off the original price.
This week we've already seen £100 taken off fellow 2022 products as the brand slashed money off the Z Flip 4 and Z Fold 4 devices, other rumoured products that are expected to be updated at the Unpacked event.
Official details are yet to be confirmed, including the new pricing, but previous events show us that Samsung's Z range and smartwatches see new upgrades at this time of the year.
Samsung Galaxy S23 we got hands-on with the new Samsung S23 Ultra, 23+ and S23The current Galaxy Watch 5 range launched at the beginning of August 2022, and with no major Galaxy event on the cards soon it's likely tomorrow's event will have all the details surrounding the newest Galaxy Watch upgrade.
The annual global launch sees a range of new devices announced by the brand and whilst we have to wait until the live event to see what products are launched recent sales hint and both its flip and smart watch devices.
